Tia remembers how she found Cheech and Chong, dog brothers snuggling closely at a shelter in California. She knew right then that these two dogs needed each other and she'd try her hardest to keep them together.
TONIGHT'S EPISODE....MAJOR KLEENEX ALERT....SORRY.....
You recently saw a story I posted here a week ago about taking back a dog that we adopted out 8 years ago in California named Clark. Thankfully our friend Steven Ritt was able to go and get him from the shelter and house him until we can pick him up and bring him back to Louisiana. Like we always say here...."Once a VRC dog, ALWAYS a VRC dog".
And sadly on tonight's story, it is another case of just that. And in the wake of losing mother
SOMETIMES IT'S THE LITTLE ONES, THAT GIVE YOU THE BIGGEST PROBLEMS........
Watching it on TV is one thing but what the cameras can't make you "feel" is....the heat, the humidity, the fact that I had gained 24 lbs due to being injured thus making my reflexes much slower, my injured leg still didn't "work" and couldn't bend, .........makes for one of my toughest rescues to date.
TONIGHT IS A VERY IMPORTANT EPISODE!!!
IT IS THE "YOU WATCH, WE GIVE"...as in....
For everyone one who watches the show tonight (in real time), Animal Planet will donate to VRC. This time of the year is "ruff" for us and these donations are so badly needed. Even if you can't be there to actually watch the show, just leave your TV on (and then prepare for a major Kleeex alert later on).
Earl returns from rehab, hoping to rebuild his life working with the dogs. A couple comes looking for a dog who can handle the crowded streets of NYC. And, Lizzy rescues a dog after a confrontation with the owner who abandoned it.
